D guidance, playing key role in Accreditation processes (both NBA & NAAC), building and maintaining relationships with senior level corporate people. He was awarded the Best Principal Award for the session 2021-22 among all Techno India Colleges and Active Leadership Award at IEM, Salt Lake during 2004-05.

Prof. Datta is currently associated with as GCEO (Academic Development) of Camellia Group of Institutions. Prior to that, he served the role of Principal in different colleges for above 12 years, Vice Principal & HOD for 4 years. He was the founder teaching member of IEM, Salt Lake and served there for more than 13 years in different key administrative positions. During his long academic journey, he performed the role of Professor for 14 Years, Associate Professor for 1 Year, Assistant Professor for 13 Years.
Prof. Tirthankar Datta was awarded Ph.D. (Engg.) degree from Jadavpur University, M. Tech. in Radio Physics & Electronics from University of Calcutta. He published one text book on Basic Electronics Engineering under Tata McGraw Hill publication, 3 international patents, 4 Book Chapters, 42 technical research papers in peer- reviewed Journals (International) & Conferences (National & International).
